1. All Sales Are Final

All purchases and subscriptions made through SafeSFTP.com are non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • User Error or Change of Mind: Refunds will not be issued for incorrect selections or buyer’s remorse. Please ensure you choose the correct plan before purchasing.
  • Failure to Use the Service: Inactivity or failure to use the purchased service does not entitle you to a refund.
  • Incompatibility With Third-Party Tools: We do not provide refunds where integration with external systems fails unless explicitly guaranteed in writing.
  • Duplicate or Accidental Purchases: We do not provide refunds for multiple or mistaken purchases once provisioning has begun.
  • Early Cancellation: If you cancel before the end of your billing period, the remaining balance is forfeited. No pro-rated refunds or credits are offered.

2. SaaS Product and Consumer Law Exemptions

SafeSFTP is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform. Your purchase grants immediate access to non-tangible, digital services, which are exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off period under:

  • The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013
  • The Consumer Rights Act 2015 (as applies to physical goods)

By completing your order, you agree to waive your cancellation rights and acknowledge that:

  • Service access begins immediately upon payment
  • No physical goods are provided
  • No refund will be issued once access is granted

3. Chargebacks and Disputes
  • Contact Us First: All billing concerns must be directed to [email protected] before initiating any chargeback or dispute.
  • We Will Dispute All Unjustified Chargebacks: SafeSFTP will submit payment logs, IP logs, service access logs, and this Refund Policy as part of a formal challenge process.
  • Account Suspension: We may suspend your account and access to services pending resolution of a payment dispute.
  • Recovery Action: Where necessary, we reserve the right to pursue legal action or debt collection for lost revenue and associated costs.

4. Backup Services: Terms, Limitations, and No Refunds
4.1 Backup Cancellation Upon Upgrade

If you upgrade your service plan:

  • Your existing backup service will be automatically cancelled.
  • No refund or credit will be provided for the unused portion of your cancelled backup service.
  • If you wish to continue with backups on your upgraded plan, you must purchase a new backup plan corresponding to the new storage tier.
4.2 Backup Size Must Match Service Plan
  • Backup capacity is tied directly to your SafeSFTP plan (e.g., a 100GB plan has 100GB of backup space).
  • It is not possible to purchase more or less backup capacity than your main service tier.
  • Custom or mismatched configurations are not available at this time.
4.3 No Liability for Data Loss Without Backup
  • If you do not purchase a backup plan, you accept full responsibility for your own data retention and disaster recovery strategy.
  • In the event of a hardware failure (including disk loss or corruption), SafeSFTP accepts no liability for data loss.
  • No refunds, credits, or compensation will be provided for loss of data unless a valid and active backup plan was in place at the time of the incident.

5. Display and Acceptance of Policy

This policy is:

  • Available publicly on our website
  • Linked from checkout and account setup flows
  • Formally accepted by users at the time of purchase

By completing a transaction, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted this Refund Policy in full.


6. Statutory Rights

This policy does not override your statutory rights where applicable. If a service is:

  • Misrepresented
  • Fails to be delivered as agreed

We will investigate the matter and may provide remedies at our sole discretion, which may include reactivation, adjustment, or service extension. Refunds remain disallowed under standard conditions.
